Nut Butter Fudge
So I have been looking for some new recipes that do not
involve baking. This spring/summer has really kicked me out of the kitchen so I
am trying to get back in there making goodies that you don’t have to use the
oven. Ok I know it’s pretty cool tonight
but regardless I wanted some non-bake recipes!
Tonight I tried a new recipe…Nut Butter Fudge.
I mixed a cup of nut butter (almond, cashew, sunflower), you
can pick one or mix a couple together. I then added about a quarter cup of
coconut oil, one to two tablespoons of maple syrup (if you are looking for a
sugar substitute you can use xylitol or stevia), two tablespoons of coconut
flour and a dash of sea salt. I mixed all ingredients together and then poured
it into an 8x8 pan and sprinkled some dark chocolate over top and then put it
in the freezer. It is the perfect treat to grab after a long day to satisfy
that sweet tooth without over doing it.
Have a great weekend all and don’t forget it’s Met Con Blue Weekend. So if you have been hmmming and hawing about signing up it's not too late, step out of your comfort zone and hit up to the Mountain!
