Quick recipe for the weekend! If you are looking to switch things up a bit try using beans in your baking. Beans make the perfect substitute for a flourless dessert. And the bonus is they are so moist.
Try these out:
1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup all natural almond butter or peanut butter (Peanut butter is my favourite)
1/3 cup pure maple syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup chocolate chips and a few for on top
Mix all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor or blender and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Stir in the chocolate chips and then spread the mixture in an 8x8 pan and sprinkle with extra chocolate chips. Bake for 20-25 minutes, cool and enjoy!!!!
